The 2018 rebrand of Sydney Guitar Festival focused on elevating the festival to reflect the sophisticated, music-oriented and relax vibe of the event. Adapting Reg Mombasa’s 2017 illustration, this new brand featured streamlined key art that explored the dynamic movement of the guitar and the music it produces. Paired with bold and clear typography with a calm, monotone colour palette, the brand became sophisticated and celebratory. The brand was rolled out across a variety of mediums, including outdoor signage, print advertising and a substantial boost in web presence.
